A great font of nursery rhymes for my grandson. He goes to sleep singing these every night and we also play them during the day. He is now starting to sing the words although only two he is picking the words of the songs amazongly wuickly.

The best nursery rhyme CD, 2010-03-07
When I was little we had the two LP's and we loved to listen to them, but over the years the quality of the vinyl had diminished to a point that they weren't really usable and I was resigned to not being able to share these songs with my own little boy.
I was so excited to find that they had been released on CD and immediately ordered a copy. I my reservations that listening an adult, these versions wouldn't live up to my wonderful memories, but they are just as good as I remember and my little boy loves them, too. Even if you aren't folky they are really accessible and they won't drive you mad like some childrens songs will.
Thoroughly recommended!

Miracle CD - 3 songs and she's asleep!, 2010-02-14
I've struggled to settle my 10 week old daughter for weeks but this cd is a miracle. She falls asleep within 3 or 4 songs - and so do I!! Really lovely music and gentle voice - not your typical lullaby CD. It's like chillout music for babies! I think I enjoy it as much as my baby. I'd highly reccommend it to any new parents - and have done already!

We've got this CD as a present from our friends and it just gives the perfect background music to the evening. We use it when our 5 months old is feeding and drifting off to sleep. We can only recommend it!

Bought this CD for our grandson, and he absolutly loves it. Momment he gets in the car he wants it played.When the tracks finish he wants it played again. Priceless inocent entertainment.Recomended for all mums and dads with 2 year old plus to entertain....

my little boy loves this ! despite other reviews saying that there are only 16 songs and not the stated 25,there is 25.although the cd player will only read 16,there are sometimes 2 or 3 songs under one number.it has old favourites and new ones i didn't know and we happily sing along to them all in the car.i would heartily recommend this for babies and toddlers

Fabulous movie and wonderful soundtrack... I got to see Princess & the Frog last weekend in the USA, it's not out in the UK until February and I already can't wait to see it again.
A must buy for any disney animation fan (Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, Little Mermaid etc) and jazz music fans.
Randy Newman has done an excellent job on the songs & soundtrack.
Highly recommended!

I bought this and used it with my class of 4-7 yr olds and they all love it. The actions are so useful if you don't like to make up your own and the songs are really catchy- the kids are always singing them. Love it!

Lullaby - Not just for kids!, 2010-03-18
We wanted something that wouldn't great with us while soothing our baby who had forgotten how to fall asleep herself, and this is just the job. Knowing Sophie Barker's voice from Zero 7 was enough incentive to buy this, and the songs do not disappoint. A couple (the names escape me now - it could be Baa Baa Black Sheep) has an almost epic instrumental far beyond the nursery rhyme we all know. Basically, it's all good - great soothing voice and excellent musical accompaniment. Oh, and it calms down our baby girl who loves it too! Recommended.
