Rammstein are incredible!!, 2010-03-16 This CD of 'Rammstein live' is beyond words! They reproduce their music note perfect when playing live. Till's voice is a phenomena all of its own. I have never been to a live concert of Rammstein's (yet), but this CD just transports you there with the band and the fans!! If you love this band, as I do, I recommend Live Aus Berlin to you. As my motto says RAMMSTEIN ROCKS!!!

Mind Blowing Album!, 2010-03-14 There isn't one track that I don't like. I was blown away by what a great mix of tracks there are. I can't recommend this highly enough. To my mind this has surpassed Mutter which was an amazing album. You can't help but get hooked on the catchy beat of Ich Tu Dir Weh, and Roter Sand is an amazing ballad. This album has it all I just keep listening to it over and over. A++++++++++ Get this album!!

They should, of course, be laughable: a bunch of stocky Germans with a penchant for pyromania and a wardrobe straight out of a downtown S&M bar. Yet somehow, Rammstein's very Teutonic brand of doom-mongering has struck a chord with listeners, perhaps grateful that Germany's latest sensations are not merely another Scorpions. Instead, the music is an unmistakeably martial--some would say fascistic--form of industrial-metal, all punishing rhythms and grand, Wagnerian choruses; while the band's decision to fuse their assault with the arpeggiated textures of trance and techno--while hardly unique (think KMFDM or Nine Inch Nails)--has undoubtedly lent their sound a more robust...
Love at First Listen!, 2010-01-18 Unlike a couple of other Rammstein albums (namely Herzeleid and Reise, Reise), the second it started playing I thought wow this is what I was missing! - I loved it instantly. Infact I've only thus far listened to it a couple of times but I don't think there's a single track on there I don't like. Excellent stuff.

Rammstein Heil !, 2010-02-04 This is a very good album.
No, it's not as good as Mutter but it's impossible to repeat perfection.
It's a lot better than Rosenrot but maybe not quite as good as Reise Reise.
(I haven't decided yet) So even if it's not Rammstein's finest that still
makes it a hundred times better than the other commerical pap our ears and
intelligence are insulted with.
Es bekommt funf Sternen von Mir !

Leftovers from Reise, Reise?! Pfft!!, 2010-01-19 I had to write something on this album just because it's had such a bad press! I have to admit it was with some trepidation that I purchased this album and it was the next to last of Rammstein's because I had read such awful reviews of it. But after listening to it I'm in shock that it could have had a single bad review, it has so many beautiful and exquisite songs on it - maybe that's why, some Rammstein fans want every track to be a headbanger like 'Mein Herz Brennt' or 'Feuer Frei'?! Personally whilst I love those tracks, I love to see a variation in styles, I like to hear and be surprised by what a band can achieve and this album really doesn't disappoint! I'm really not a fan of Reise, Reise but I love Rosenrot so no way would I ever consider it leftovers from that! For me this album along with Mutter and Sehnsucht is my favourite Rammstein. (And dare I say it for fear of being lynched, that 'Stirb Nicht Vor Mir' doesn't offend my ears either!)

No new songs, but pretty cool remixes., 2010-03-10 This single doesn't feature any new material, however this is definately a must have for Rammstein collectors and new fans alike.
Ich Tu Dir Weh is a great single, and this single features an alternate edit of the album version
Pussy's remix is pretty cool, a dance mix by Scooter. Very good for techno/dance fans, and a genuinely good mix, particularly the keyboard work!
Rammlied remix is pretty weird, featuring fart noise and banjos...just about anything. However, it is oddly catchy
Ich Tu Dir Weh remix is actually the weakest in my opinion. It's ok, just not that brilliant.

Formed in Germany in 1994, this industrial rock six-piece gained notoriety when they were found to be fave raves of the Columbine High School killers. Mutter is the studio follow-up to 1998s platinum-selling Sehnsucht, and a very menacing beast it is too. Vocalist Till Lindermann delivers growling German lyrics over a melange of explosive guitar, pared-down bass and juddering drums. But these 11 tracks are not all nu-metal stomp rock, as every so often the aural assault is broken by quivering flights of fragile pop melody. Songs like Spieluhr and Mutter are reminiscent of early 1980s synth-pop merchants such as OMD, proving that under the Teutonic Nine Inch ...
Well my 54 year old mumy loves them, 2009-12-13 Well If my 54 year old mummy loves them AND my sister who only listens to radio one and some other rubbish likes them then they must be good this is my fave album I think its the most cohesive album out of all of them reise reise had a few songs that were a bit iffy but I did like. This album however all teh songs are absolutly brilliant and the lyrics are funny and rude and sad and rude and more rude and funny again. the riffs are cool and the wicked keyboard is what makes rammstein rammstein. the drumming is equally insane and robotic and cool. and of course the vocals are pure what everyone I think would think a german would sound like agressive wit ha low voice and slightly evil sounding

The sort of music they'll play when the world ends..., 2008-03-26 Bought this album on a whim, after bumping into it on here and seeing all the positive reviews. Very glad I did. It's surprisingly melodic and great to drive to. The only low point (for me) is Amerika which, because it's partly sung in heavily accented English, sounds a bit Eurovision. That apart it's fascinating stuff that bears repeated listening. If you've never bought music like this before don't be put off. I've immediately ordered most of their back catalogue.

German Warfare, 2008-06-20 Will Amazon let me away with a four-word review??
Dear God, THE RIFFS!!
No? How about a 363 word review then?
Strictly speaking, this album doesn't need another glistening review; it has enough fans. I really ought to be off defending something that needs the help like the rubbish Revolver or the misunderstood Bob Hoskins-starring Super Mario Bros.
Hello? Still there?
The Rammsetin of Herzeleid is a much different beast to that of later albums, the self aware Sehnsucht or the chart ready days of Mutter onwards. This is a raw hungry and angry document of, as the title suggests, Heartache. Band members have been noted as saying Rammstein is about love, in all of its forms. If this is true, Herzeleid is about messy breakups, shattered splintered dreams and beds on fire.
Straight off the bat, the production is pitch-perfect., in no way glossy but ferocious as hell. The opening guitar on "Der Meister" sounds like a buzzsaw, while even the sombre "Seeman" contains heavy, heavy shredding upon closer inspection. The album is bookended with statements of intent; the chanting "Rammstein" of opener "Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen" and the menacing self-titled closer. In between we get nine other belters, with only "Seeman" pausing for softer emotion and the bizarre "Das Alte Leid" for slow chugging behemothity. Yes, I invented that word. These 11 tracks contain between them somewhere around A BILLION awesome riffs. Honestly, this band make AC/DC and Metallica look like beginners. The playing is self assured and the songs impeccably arranged with not as much as one artistic mis-step, from the mini-solos of "Weißes Fleisch" to the crying baby samples on "Das Alte Leid". I'm honestly surprised more dance fans don't dig this album, such is the relentless, steady pounding pace.
Surprised, but not bothered, for this a metal fan's album, something - as a metal fan - to be truly proud of. This album is many things; the oppression of Till Lindeman's near-spoken vocals; Christopher Schneider's techno bea(s)ts; Paul, Ollie and Richard's world-class, neck-wrecking guitar riffs; Flake's OTT keyboards. It is also one thing; an absolute, must buy, timeless classic metal album. Please buy it. You must.
