I don't have the musical vocabulary to disect this album, but I absolutely love the strings & melodies. Her voice may not be the strongest, but the production makes the best of it. Basically, it's a must-have album, I love it unconditionally. Paloma is a star!

I heard this lady sing on tv and liked it so much I ordered the CD from Amazon the day after. it arrived very quickly indeed. This song is interesting not as soul poppy as stone cold sober or new york, more rocky soul its very different. i do like paloma faith i do like it but i do fell to say the truth here and say its not a top 10 hit, i dont think. sorry
i give it 6.5 out of 10.

I knew this album would be good & Paloma certainly didn't let me down. Beautiful songs with amazing lyrics...
My favourite being track 3 'Broken Doll' & not forgetting the title track 'Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?'
A great album for any one. My entire family will happily listen to this. =]
